Recruitment of Various post in NIMHANS Bengalore

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up the following posts on Contract Basis for the DBT funded project entitled “Dementia Science Programme: Incidence/Prevalence/Risk analysis of dementia and basic research thereof” under Dr. Suvarna Alladi, Professor of Neurology and Principal Investigator.

1	Name of the Post	Sector Manager
a	No. of Post	01*
b	Essential Qualification	First class Master’s in Sociology/Rural Development /Economics/Human Resource/Social Work/Psychology or equivalent.
c	Desirable Experience	Primary & Secondary data collection in community based studies Preferable knowledge of Epi Info/SPSS/STATA/SAS.
d	Salary	₹30,000/- (Consolidated) per month
e	Maximum Age Limit	40 Years
f	Duration	6 months. Likely to be extended based on the satisfactory performance.
g	Key Responsibilities	Line   Listing,   community  engagement   activities   and   overall supervision of project activities within the assigned area.

 

2	Name of the Post	Research Assistant
a	No. of Post	03*
b	Essential Qualification	Masters in Clinical psychology/Psychology/ Social Work
c	Desirable Experience	Experience  working  in  the  community  in  the  field  of  mental health and counseling services is preferred. The applicant should be conversant in writing and speaking Kannada language Experience in data collection in community based studies preferably related to health.
d	Maximum Age Limit	40 Years
e	Salary	₹25,000/- (Consolidated) per month
f	Duration	Selected candidates should undergo one month training and they will be evaluated.  Initial appointment will be for two months and extended   further   depending   upon   the   performance   of   the candidate up to 18 months.
g	Key Responsibilities	Responsible for administering socio-demographic and informant questionnaires to the elderly in the community and data entry and other responsibilities in implementation of project related activities.

 

3	Name of the Post	Project Physician
a	No. of Post	01*
b	Essential Qualification	MBBS/  BAMS/BHMA/BDS.  Candidates  with  MPH  along  with these qualifications will also be preferred.
c	Desirable Experience	Medical   and   Physical   examination   to   the  participants   in   the community.  The  applicant  should  be  conversant  in  writing  and speaking Kannada language
d	Salary	₹45,000/- (Consolidated) per month
e	Maximum Age Limit	40 years
f	Duration	Selected candidates should undergo one month training and they will be evaluated.   Initial appointment will be for two months and extended further depending upon the performance of the candidate up to 18 months.
g	Key Responsibilities	To  conduct  medical  and  physical  examination  to  participants  in community and implementing project related activities. Would be required to diagnosing patients with neurological disease.
