7. Before moving into Rio en Medio, the Americans replastered the old house, pruned the trees, and patched the fence. Then they had to face some problems. The children of the village were over running the property. They came everyday and played under the trees, built little play fences around them and picked flowers. When they were spoken to they only laughed and talked back good-naturedly in Spanish.
